LaRose provides clinical supervision services to those seeking licensure in DC and in FL.
This video is a brief summary of the types of services included in beginning a high level of expertise training and support for those moving to licensure and who have an interest in private practice!
Supervision services with LaRose will be a bit “outside of the box.” We’ll work with clients AND we’ll get your practice areas, emphasis, and business going along the way. Supervision services will include onsite shadowing and co-facilitation with clients (in your office and/or with LaRose), including face to face and online platform uses in mental health. But it doesn’t stop there: Why? Much of the “business of private practice” was not actually taught in Grad School! How the heck can you get ready if someone doesn’t show you those ropes too?
We’ll look at bookkeeping technology (keeping records real time, current and uploaded in accountant ready applications), insurance paneling (NPIs, FEINs), electronic insurance billing (EHR, EDI’s, Real Time Insurance Claims Filing), credit card acceptance (merchant account, medical identifiers with health savings account credit cards, electronic deposits), branding (logos, names, pros/cons, transferrability of business), web presence and set up (.com, .org., .net with search engine verification on Bing, Google, and free business listings online), social media uses (national standards and policies, personal/business differences), HIPAA compliance (encryption, electronic standards requirements/exceptions, billing), CEUs and staying ahead (how to keep the transcript updated and active in real time – cloud based or good ole paper copies) and much more!
And what about publishing your own work? Why didn’t someone teach you that too in Grad School? So how about an article or two …
And yes, we will do all of the work needed for the required number of direct service client work hours! In the direct service work you and I will also build your client focus, design and create some of your psychoeducation materials (which can be used in sessions and online) and create a level of expertise and confidence to get you on your way for examination in licensing.
I’ve been a supervisor of social work volunteers in a non-profit, I’ve worked students from three different universities in practice, I’ve been a professor of Field Students in the university working with multiple agencies (BSW) and I’m published too.
See more information in the providers section of TalkifUwant. NOTE: If you are a potential supervisee of LaRose any fees that you may see as assessed for a provider ARE NOT APPLICABLE IN SUPERVISION services, due to ethical considerations. The supervision fee is what would be assessed as the hourly fee agreement between LaRose and licencee candidates. Any costs that would be incurred by supervisees in developing a future practice would be handled between the supervisee and any vendor chosen by the supervisee. LaRose would not be paid any supportive services fees, except the supervision rate, as permitted by licensing and professional association standards. The fee is negotiated between LaRose and the supervisee and the supervision agreement (see sample below) is modified to the terms that both parties wish to include/modify/add/delete.
